Rebecca’s Expertise

In a unique position to bridge the gap between the academy and military culture, Rebecca has guided military leaders through writing for graduate-level broadening assignments, Command and General Staff College, and Senior Service College.

The daughter of a Marine Corps veteran and Purple Heart recipient, Rebecca grew up in veteran communities and with an acute awareness of and deep respect for the weight our veterans and their families carry. Rebecca is passionate about helping service members, veterans, and family members write their stories, whether for publication or for catharsis.

Rebecca has been a military spouse for 20 years. Intimately familiar with the unique challenges military families face, she has supported fellow spouses through career transitions and life transitions. She has also supported military children, including her own, through frequent relocations and homeschooling.
